In celebration of the 10th BarCamp in Nashville, organizers have called for session proposals that share passions as well as expertise. Prospective speakers have responded by proposing a wide range of session topics, from settling Mars to fostering inclusion and diversity with tech.

Joining a variety of rants and instructional sessions is a new format: VIP interviews. Proposed interviews include John Wark, president of Nashville Software School, discussing the next ten years of tech and startups with the new CEOs of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and the Nashville Technology Council, BarCamp Nashville co-founders Marcus Whitney and Dave Delaney interviewing each other about BarCamp’s history and future, and a live podcast with the NashDev Cast team.

BarCamp Nashville is a crowd-sourced unconference where anyone can speak about anything related to tech. As Nashville’s umbrella event for the grassroots tech community, it brings together people across the full ecosystem, including software developers, designers, product managers, marketers, entrepreneurs and anyone else whose work involves building tech.

Registration for the October 15 event is free and includes lunch and the after party. The event begins with a free Kick-off Mixer on Friday, October 14, hosted at Eventbrite’s Nashville office in Cummins Station.
